Five Years of Theosophy by Theosophy Company as Editor

This is a collection of articles from the early years of the Theosophist, in facsimile of the original edition (London, 1885). A number of articles by H.P.B. are included in this volume; others of interest are by T. Subba Row, Mohini M. Chatterji, and Damodar K. Mavalankar. Of particular interest is the section entitled "Some Inquiries Suggested by Mr. Sinnett's Esoteric Buddhism." This book contains material published nowhere else.

Indeed does contain specialized, valuable, material including the correct age of Buddha and Shankaracharya. The first article "The Elixir of Life" has struck many serious students because it claims one can live for several centuries if one does the right thing. But be warned, the details are scanty, not revealed sufficiently to practice, and the process involves sacrifice.
